the guangxi branch had achieved 257 days of safe production by aug 3, 2012 and won the 2011 advanced enterprise competition in safety production competition and guangxi advanced company competition in safety production. none of this could have been achieved without safety management. the company followed she management standards and encourages its staff’s families to get involved into various safety cultural activities. it hoped to form a safety network integrating the company, staff and family members through it.
“it is the first time for me to visit my husband’s workshop. i am more aware of his work environment. i’ll give him more support!” said the wife of one equipment maintenance worker, after visiting the workshop.
the guangxi branch organizes three plants’ staff members’ families to visit the workshop from july 31 to aug 8. their families understand their working situation and significance of safety production. they said they would support them as well as supervise safety production.
after the visit, the company invited them to the family talk, in which company leaders talked about safety production and the company's current status. family members talked about their thoughts after the visit and gave advice about avoiding dangers and securing employees’ lives. a worker's child said, “i’ve never imagined my father’s work is that hard. i’ll try to make him a good environment to rest at home so he can save energy for work."
