jinan yuxing chemical has established its unique management system centering on the ci tmp visual management 7s system framework. advanced management concepts have taken roots in the minds of yuxing people to play an important role in production and operations.
jinan yuxing, as the first company to test the tpm management system under bluestar, began implementing the system from june last year. leaders from china bluestar and experts from sigma breakthrough technologies inc (sbti) inspected the company.
in a gradual step-by-step approach, three activities were held, and 13 improvement projects for work procedures and operations were implemented.
at the beginning of the year, the company merged the ci and tpm offices into the ci-tpm office, and defined responsibilities to optimize allocation of human resources and materials.
meanwhile, safety and savings were incorporated into the tpm project to expand 5s management to 7s. with total productive maintenance of main facilities and equipment as the core, the tmp system has expanded the company. under the tpm office, tpm groups from all workshops and departments implemented 13 improvement projects last year.
the company started using the strategy map or tree control system to select lean six sigma projects to reflect the company’s strategy and to make belt-rated projects important support for the company’s strategic goals.
the tmp office chose to make the main facilities, including the warehousing and transport as necessary for upgrades, and helped them to attain certificates, which were frequent complaints of clients. apparently, pass certificates could not be fixed firmly due to powder on the outside surface of the package, and certificates could easily fall off due to low temperatures in the winter.
the company introduced hand-held inkjet printing machines, and tests, which found that the printing effect was satisfactory. a weekly inspection was conducted in accordance with set inspection standards, and inspection results were reported during weekly meetings.
