the china bluestar lehigh engineering corp has finished the second phase of its design work on the dehkanabad potash fertilizer plant, in the kashkadarya region of uzbekistan and the last drawings have been submitted to the owner. the second phase of the project is for an annual potash fertilizer production capacity of 400,000 tons. it is expected to go into production in 2014.
the plant’s owner was pleased with the institute’s design work on the first phase and asked them to go work on the second. basic design work began in early 2012, with all of the institute’s departments involved in communicating with the plant to reach a suitable agreement.
