the bluestar (beijing) chemical machinery held a business negotiation demonstration recently for 30 personnel from marketing, technology, production and installation to give them some experience in the real world. for the practice negotiation, some employees were asked to play the role of leaders of a chlor-alkali plant, while two others, sun jingmin and zhou shubo, acted as company representatives. the two sides negotiated a 200,000-ton caustic soda project deal, with the “leader” asking some sharp questions that the user might be concerned about the “representatives” patiently provided answers to every single question and offered additional information and service suggestions.
