recently, the jinan yuxing chemical co has started a frugality campaign to answer the call of the new cpc leaders, that are urging every member of the company to develop a resource-saving, environmentally friendly enterprise. the campaign slogan is “save every kwh of electricity and every piece of paper”.
the rules are the following:
first of all, company electricity, water, and gas consumption should be strictly monitored. electric appliances such as computers (and monitors), printers, and photocopiers should be turned off when not used. office supplies and related goods should be used with caution and the paperless office notion followed. try not to switch on lights if natural light is available. air-conditioning should be used in accordance with the energy management regulation and should be turned off when the room is empty. office equipment that is not in use for more than an hour should be turned off. printing paper should be used on both sides if possible, following the “recycling waste” notion. briefings should be limited and unimportant notices should not be sent.
second of all, the e-office platform should be used to its fullest, and any files that are sent electronically should not be printed.
finally, in finance and budgeting, there should be collective discussions of important spending, reports before spending, and all refunds should be regulated. do not put green plants, slogans, or background boards in meeting rooms.
