the it leadership meeting was held in nantong on sept 20-22, with the theme, “support business with informatization”. the taking parties were zhang lijun as executive deputy general manager, dai sizhe as chief operations officer and luo litang as chief information officer of the corporation, as well as departmental principals of operation office, financing office and information office. china national chemical data center and informatization principals of 16 enterprises affiliated to the corporation also attended the meeting.
the meeting coincided with the company’s actions to carry out informatization strategy and governance work. zhang lijun pointed out during the meeting that informatization construction has focused on the need of business and bridged exchanges between business departments and information department. he said the key was to solve difficulties in the application of information system and advance the utilization rate of information tools and benefits of projects. every informatization team should be well prepared for informatization construction with business departments to make the work plan clarified in every detail. dai affirmed that the corporation has made informatization construction. he expressed that sap-bwcm, eds, and rtdb have advanced process efficiency and consolidate management fundamentals, while the development of informatization tools can promote the benefits of management reforms. he calls on every enterprise to balance communication and cooperation between business and informatization, in response to challenges for creating a process-oriented enterprise. informatization, the most powerful auxiliary tool to business, deserves much attention from all business departments, said dai.
besides, luo introduced the corporation’s informatization construction plan and erp team organization in 2012-2014. he gave priority to information system technical framework and informatization construction and offered specific guidance against issues of informatization construction. he emphasized that solutions for informatization construction should be improved with practical business requirements. throughout the meeting, each informatization construction team came to know the core work of production, business and finance. it built up a platform to realize communication with business departments, which clarified the objective of informatization construction, and re-position its strategic partnership between informatization and business.
