the 25th bluestar summer camp held a media day activity on july 31, 2014. officials from the sasac publicity bureau’s corporate culture department; state-owned company cross-cultural management and culture fusion team; sasac state-owned enterprise business model and risk management research team; and reporters from xinhua, people’s daily and china daily visited the camp site accompanied by gao jianjun, vice-general manager of bluestar.
li huili, a leader of the beijing camp no 1, introduced the purpose, distinctiveness and theme of the activity.
five classes in the camp displayed their team flags, songs and slogans to the coming guests. foreign campers also performed chinese songs they just learned. although they still have to work on the precision of pronunciation, their performance won warm applause from the audience. guests took out their cameras to record the unforgettable moment.
they experienced activities of all classes led by instructors and spoke highly of summer camp.
the media day gave the sasac and media a glimpse of the daily activities at the international summer camp to help them better understand bluestar’s efforts in building corporate culture and the role of the summer camp in strengthening bluestar culture over the past 25 years. guests said they learned a lot from the experience and would refer to it in future company culture building.
