recently, a 200,000-ton-per-year diammonium phosphate project in sichuan’s mianzhu city, undertaken by zhonglan chengguang, started trial production.
the project is part of the reconstruction of deyang haohua qingping phosphorus mining co after the wenchuan earthquake. the company, located in mianzhu’s hanwang town, is a key chemical mining player nationwide. it suffered severe losses in the disaster. the project is supposed to help the company resume production.
in may 2011, zhanglan chengguang won the bid for the project. it drew up a plan review and construction design in july, started purchasing equipment in august, and successfully began construction on sept 17, finishing all the preparations in merely two months. zhanglan chengguang also strengthened project management, coordination, design, purchase and construction to ensure safety, environmental protection and project quality. it overcame the difficulties of complex geological conditions and frequent rain, and managed to complete the project by the end of 2012. on may 25, 2013, the equipment began operating.
during the trial run, a key piece of equipment acted up, and zhanglan chengguang immediately invited experts over to address the problem. on july 9, a rare rainstorm hit the diammonium phosphate project’s electronic control room for slags, creating problems for the project. however, the project department persevered and managed to produce qualified products by the beginning of sept. it took 616 days after the contract was signed for the project to start production. the effective and quality construction also won recognition from the proprietor. it is projected to bring in more than 300 million yuan ($49.23 million) in output value a year and can satisfy the local needs for phosphorous products.
