the 24th bluestar international summer camp ended on aug 9. a total of 980 children of bluestar employees in china and abroad had a great time together in the 22 camps across the country.
ren jianming, chemchina deputy general manager; gao jianjun, bluestar party secretary; and members of beijing camp no 1 attended the closing ceremony together on aug 9. ren jianming, on behalf of chemchina general manager ren jianxin, sent greetings to everyone at the ceremony.
at the closing ceremony, the children presented a wonderful performance depicting the 20 days of the summer camp. they made fashionable clothes out of waste paper and put on a fashion show. some also sang chinese and foreign songs to demonstrate cultural exchanges. their inventive shows won applause from parents and other audience members. a broadcast from the cctv-4 international channel was played on stage, bringing children back to their experience at the chinese folk art museum.
after the performance, the children were reluctant to say goodbye. they looked forward to a reunion at the next summer camp.
