elkem foundry products collected three awards from the american foundry society, at its castexpo and metalcasting congress, in st. louis, missouri, us — a group service, outstanding individual service, and scientific merit award. the american foundry society recognized elkem for its work in cast iron and for the society. kevin mcmahon, elkem’s field accounts manager, accepted the award on behalf of elkem, while mike riabov, elkem’s new field accounts manager, took the outstanding individual service award. the award recognizes riabov’s many years of dedication to the cast iron division, working for neenah foundry. the society gave its scientific merit award to doug white, elkem’s technical services manager, in recognition of his contribution to the industry through practical research and sharing his information to further develop the cast iron industry.
