shenyang chemical has continued to increase scientific research input for the first half of the year to improve its major products. it conducted industrialization tests and promotion on three new paste resins, which met various technical and design requirements. the company offered product samples to a dozen upscale customers who gave positive feedback and showed interest in purchase.
shenyang chemical developed the new products to meet special requirements of the downstream floor foaming industry. at the moment, the new paste resins are ready for industrial production, with 500 tons per month. in addition, the company’s r&d personnel made application performance evaluations and technical support of the new products, and breakthroughs in raising latex ph value and stability. shenyang chemical sent 3,717 tons of goods to the high-end market in the first half of the year and offered products and technical guidance to more than 100 customers, securing its market share in severe market competition.
the company’s patented copolymerized paste resin conversion project was named a municipal scientific program in 2014 and received 200,000 yuan ($32,489) in funding. its pvc paste resin new viscosity depressant development program passed shenyang’s review on scientific and technological achievements as well as on new product and technology operations.
the company has strengthened quota management to reduce production costs. it reduced industrial water consumption, recovered chlor-alkali and renovated the hot-water system, saving a total of 200,000 tons of water annually. the company cut 5.37 million yuan in costs from january to june.
shenyang chemical will continue to speed up technological upgrade and develop upscale brands to make inroads into the high-end market. it will improve performance of the new paste resins, increasing their competitiveness, and bring them on the market as soon as possible.
