on april 25-28, chinaplas 206, a renowned trade fair in plastics and rubber industry, was held in shanghai new international expo center. in the exhibition hall with an area of more than 1 million square meters, 11 bluestar enterprises appeared with their top products and systematic solutions, attracting the attention of all.
coming through thirty-year history, chinaplas now is asia’s no.1 and world’s no.2 plastics and rubber trade fair. this year, under the theme of “shaping the future with innovation in green plastics”, it gathered 3,300 top plastic and rubber suppliers from 40 countries and regions. last year, bluestar attended the trade fair as a whole for the first time, raising its brand influence by paralleling with world-famous chemical enterprises. on this year’s trade fair, bluestar organized 11 subordinate enterprises, bringing 22 products, plastic pellets and nearly 100 materials. they demonstrated cutting-edge technologies of bluestar in chemical application in two aspects: advanced chemical materials and lightweight materials for automobile.
covered by the “four-region strategy” of the thirteenth five-year plan, bluestar has been dedicated to advanced materials for high-end products. this year’s trade fair witnessed the attendance of nantong xingchen and its ruicheng branch, xinghuo silicones, bluestar chengrand institute, shenyang chemical group, bluestar dongda, bluestar fiber, shanghai pom, shanna rubber, jinan yuxing and guangzhou institute. the products they brought included ppe, silicone rubber, engineering plastics, pvc paste resin, mpe, carbon fiber and neoprene. in seeking energy saving, environmental protection, customization and improvement in product performance and users’ experience, they demonstrated cutting-edge achievements in advanced material research, development and application. they also presented lightweight materials for automobile, another highlight of the trade fair.
chinaplas provided bluestar with a platform for building a good brand image and expanding business cooperation. on the first day, the exhibition zone of bluestar received more than 1,000 visitors. nantong xingchen gained pbt basic resin order of more than 200 tons, among which 108 tons were ordered by polyram, israel’s leading manufacturer of engineering thermoplastic compounds for the automotive. this laid a solid foundation for the company’s further expansion in overseas markets. the new mpe product of shenyang chemical, which appeared for the first time, and the terminal application of pvc paste resin attracted many visitors stopping to watch. xinghuo silicones met its core customers, gaining orders and collecting feedbacks to extending r&d ideas. products of bluestar dongda, shanna rubber, shanghai pom, bluestar fiber and jinan yuxing and r&d ability of guangzhou institute and bluestar chengrand institute were also attracted attention.
