recently, bluestar elkem and russia-based kamaz signed a product supply agreement for 2014 worth 2.5 million euros ($3.42 million). the agreement secured the long-term cooperation between the two companies, both of which will join forces to produce casting car parts with high added value and quality. it will increase elkem’s influence over the russian market and realize goods delivery through optimal logistics.
kamaz is russia’s biggest heavy-duty vehicle producer. it has produced 2.1 million vehicles so far. its production facilities cover car development, manufacturing, assembly, parts processing, market development and after-sales services.
