recently bluestar silicones was rated a “model green company in china” by china automotive technology and research center (catarc) thanks to its trust worthy brand and reputation worldwide, continuous technological innovation and strong sense of responsibility towards the society.
the evaluation of “model green company” was organized by the automotive materials technology task force of catarc, in order to promote the application of advanced, green materials technology in automobiles, earnestly practice the idea of green development in the automobile industry, and build a green industrial chain featuring cooperation, sharing, coordinated development between and innovation of the upstream and the downstream. by acknowledging and awarding outstanding enterprises and advanced technologies and selecting model green enterprises in the area of automotive materials, catarc hopes to stimulate the industry vitality, lead the technological progress in the area of green automotive materials, continue to improve the green design and speed up the green manufacturing and industrialization of the automobile industry.
the candidates were evaluated in five aspects: corporate social responsibility, contribution to the industry, reputation, environmental protection, and technological innovation. there were a total of 55 candidates which either filed the application on their own or were recommended by others, covering five sectors of metals, plastics, rubber, coating and adhesives, and eventually six of them were awarded the title “model green company” from various sectors related to automotive materials.
