elkem silicons stood out among 15 competing teams and swept the golden and silver medals for the jiangxi provincial competition of business innovation methods, part of the china innovation methods competition thanks to its solid theories and prominent innovative capabilities.
jointly sponsored by the general office of the china association for science and technology and the ministry of science and technology, the china innovation methods competition has three special competitions for businesses, college students and industrial engineers. with a transparent and just competing system, the competition generated ultimate champions through regional contests and final games.
after a theory test, project demonstration and on-site oral examination, the team of elkem silicons showcased the technical difficulties and innovation grading of each innovation projects, the procedure of solving problems in an innovative method, the employment of innovative tools and methods, as well as the practical application and effects. the innovative method for the project of synthesis process in yanchang by du kai, bi kai and yan weijun, and that for position measurement by song xianglu, wan wenfeng and ouyang wenwu won the first prizes. the innovative method for oxygen contents measurement in silicon power mills by wang huajiang, li fu and wei ligang won the second prize. at the same time, six employees of elkem silicons were recognized outstanding students in a pre-competition training session hosted by the jiangxi provincial department of science and technology.
