the company has scientifically applied patent resources in product technology support and production. the methods of synthesizing high-activity hard-foam polyether polyol for spraying and slow spring back foam polyether polyol have filled a void in bluestar’s high-end polyether polyol sector, producing significant economic benefits. the flame retardant polyether polyol has been produced in large scale at bluestar dongda’s unit. the synthetic method involved can produce polyether polyol with excellent flame retardant performance, while incurring no extra input of equipment and human efforts. the method doesn’t need additional fire retardants and can satisfy the requirements of high-end customers.
there are no national standards on determination of particle size and solid content. the company’s scientific personnel explored an effective method after bold innovations and by trial and error, and successfully applied for a patent for invention. the two determination methods for polyether polyol’s particle size and solid content were the first of their kind in the industry, and are easy to follow and ensure reliable results. the methods have become important standards for determination of polyether polyol’s particle size and solid content in the industry. the national standards under preparation are based on the two methods.
at the moment, the company still has many patents in the process of application and under review, and it will continue to carry out technical research and development, as well as patent application to upgrade product quality and raise product competitiveness, contributing to the development of bluestar as well as the whole industry.
