bluestar held an annual work conference in beijing on jan 10. the meeting reviewed work in 2013 and made deployments for 2014. zhang lijun, deputy general manager of bluestar, delivered an annual report on deepening structural adjustment, speeding up sales reform, upgrading management and promoting scientific development.
in 2013, the company effectively handled the complex internal and external economic environment, strengthened management, and stabilized production. it enhanced structural adjustment and significantly improved its lean management. it optimized technical processes, improved technology and brought down production costs. the company expedited business coordination to enhance its competitiveness. zhang stressed focusing on eight aspects when making deployments for 2014. he asked all personnel to vigorously reform sales; raise company management; step up structural adjustment; facilitate company transformation; review management; stabilize operations and unit control; push she efficiency evaluations; optimize human resources structure and continue to upgrade team ability; perfect the r&d system; promote technological innovation; deepen party construction; and carry forward bluestar’s entrepreneurship.
ren jianxin, chemchina general manager, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. he called on all parties to carry out the spirit of the third plenary session of the 18th cpc central committee, deepen company reforms, and break through institutional obstacles. ren urged all employees to promote structural adjustment, optimize capital and product structure, carry out sales reform, and innovate products and sales models in 2014. he encouraged employees to consolidate and amplify process optimization, bring down raw materials consumption and raise product competitiveness. bluestar and other subsidiaries were asked to analyze the job performance rankings revealed at the chemchina annual work conference and find ways to improve.
