adisseo has six solid and liquid methionine plants in france and spain, and the nanjing branch is its first in asia. the branch started construction of the at88 project in nanjing chemical industrial park in july 2009, following the design of the burgos plant. the project covers an area of 42.7 hectares and was carried out in two phases. the first phase had an annual capacity of 70,000 tons and was finished at the end of 2013. the second phase was scheduled to be completed in 2016. at88 is necessary for monogastric animals. in the past, all at88 was imported from abroad into china. the popularization of methionine will help optimize china’s animal feed structure and raise the quality of the breeding industry.
