jinan yuxing has strengthened product research and development to power its “go global” strategy. it continues to optimize application performance of its titanium dioxide to broaden its presence in the international market, achieving positive results. in 2013, the company broke ground by joining efforts with sherwin-williams’ brazil plant to increase its market share. the company also witnessed significant growth in rok and middle east markets.
in 2013, titanium dioxide downstream demand dropped as a result of the slack economic situation in china and abroad. jinan yuxing strengthened cooperation with terminal users and major trading partners, raised product quality and gave priority to scientific research to help its product make it to the international market.
the company collaborated with shandong university to optimize key technical process points and improve product quality. technicians focused on the production line to monitor raw materials and pick up on abnormal fluctuations quickly. in this way, the product has maintained steady quality. the company also added new equipment to improve product size distribution, stepping up efforts in equipment inspection. it increased inspection rounds on sand mill and raymondmill to optimize technological parameters in order to bring down water dispersibility of c-line products.
jinan yuxing has also continued to increase r&d input. it recently finished industrialized production of titanium dioxide for a r868 zirconium-aluminum capsule and r878 aluminum capsule, receiving positive feedback from customers. in addition, it also finished trial production of r806 for major client sherwin-williams. it will launch industrialized production in march when the imported jet mill is in place. the move will help increase the share of the company’s titanium dioxides in coating, paper production, printer ink and color master batch industries, thus boosting its market publicity.
