on march 29 & 30, 2017, several world experts in animal nutrition were together at the city of viçosa (minas gerais, brazil) to take part in the international symposium about nutritional requirements of monogastrics.
this symposium, besides promoting the discussion on systems of nutritional requirements determination, aimed to present the latest results on feed composition and nutritional requirements for monogastrics and launched the newest edition of the brazilian tables of nutritional requirements.
more than 600 people from around 10 countries attended this event, led by professor horacio santiago rostagno – a leading researcher at the ufv (universidade federal de viçosa). participants were mainly nutritionists, teachers, researchers and technicians from various companies.
adisseo also highlighted its presence in this event through a presentation given by mr pierre-andre geraert – adisseo marketing innovation director – on “amino acid: a tool to improve meat quality”, which received a very positive feedback from attendees.
