from april 13 to 16, the eye-catching 2021 international exhibition on plastics and rubber industries (chinaplas 2021) was held at shenzhen international convention & exhibition center. nantong xingchen, elkem silicones, shanna rubber and guangzhou institute showcased their star products such as engineering plastics, silicone rubber, neoprene latex, and modified silicone copolymer pc. the rich diversified products not only meet the growing application needs of customers but also demonstrate the rapid advance of bluestar enterprises in technological innovation, which is in line with the theme of “new era · new drive · sustainable innovation”. featuring the semi-open booth, simple and bright design style, and dazzling led screen, all booths of the enterprises attracted a host of visitors once they were presented.

at the exhibition, the new material products launched by bluestar enterprises were impressive as highlights. the 200-plus square meters of double-layer exhibition area housed over 100 kinds of products and physical exhibits around the bluestar brand image and application areas, illustrating the theme of “bluestar makes life better”. as for engineering plastics, nantong xingchen launched its new generation of polyphenylene ether starair®, which is widely applied in the durable safe products including ignition coils and automotive fuse boxes. hydrolysis-resistant and high glow wire grade starester® pbt products are aimed at meeting the growing customer demand for water absorption, hydrolysis resistance, strength, toughness and flame retardancy of materials in the new energy automobile and electrical & electronic industries. guangzhou institute has modified silicone copolymer pc in flame retardancy, weather resistance and reinforcement to meet the needs of electronic communication industry for outdoor materials. in terms of silicones, elkem silicones, following the acquisition of guangzhou pochely, has further strengthened its innovative development of high-end liquid silicone rubber products. the launch of the new bluesil™ lsr 8800 series of second-stage-free vulcanization liquid silicone rubber and the bluesil™ lsr 6508 series of self-bonding liquid silicone rubber can help customers increase the added value and design flexibility of their products. meanwhile, focusing on the automotive industry, elkem silicones has launched bluesil™ platinum vulcanization system silicone rubber, solid and liquid oil-bleeding silicone rubber products to strongly support the safety and stability of high-voltage components of new energy vehicles. targeting the “post-epidemic” health care market, silbione™ biomedical, a long-term implantable silicone product, delivers excellent performance under a variety of biological conditions. the waterborne neoprene latex adhesive produced by shanna rubber has been used to solve the shortcomings of strong odor, long production cycle, high cod emission and easy delamination of latex, with product performance improved greatly.
