recently, adisseo, a subsidiary of bluestar, was granted the chemistry initiatives 2021 award in paris for its project of “digital smart process simplification (display 4.0)”. this is another remarkable achievement made by bluestar in promoting the “digital governance” of enterprises and empowering traditional industries in a holistic, all-round and full-chain manner.
the 2021 award is sponsored by infopro digital, a well-known french enterprise in industry information and it services, aiming at commending leading representative enterprises in the digital development for chemical production.
over the past three years, adisseo, one of the world’s leading providers of animal nutrition solutions, has been committed to its digitalization by launching the display 4.0 project in early 2019. it has relied on a complete, flexible and practical oi analytical solution for productivity enhancement and better predicted future market growth trends while enhancing cybersecurity management capabilities.
the display 4.0 project will achieve four main objectives. the project aims to optimize industrial production methods with scientific decision-making tools to enhance plant performance and increase production; share real-time information on production and operation timely with various participants (r&d, operations, process, control and maintenance specialists and external experts); further improve collaboration efficiency and telecommuting quality; and automate the tracking, scheduling and real-time monitoring of production.
the new project has combined employee incentives, business goals, user experiences and solutions and introduced digitalization to factories and r&d centers, delivering significant return on investment in less than a year. the project has been promoted in adisseo’s plants in spain, china and france, including the bayonne plant, the montlucon-based smartamine ml plant and the cinabio r&d center, driving their digital transformation.
