on january 26, bluestar held its 2022 face-to-face conversation between chairman and young managers, where hao zhigang, party secretary and chairman of bluestar, had discussions with the young people. the meeting was presided over by deputy party secretary zhu xiaolei, with sixteen representatives of young backbones from the headquarters and heads of relevant departments attending the meeting personally. also taking part in the meeting virtually were seventeen representatives of young phds serving and practicing in other enterprises and young backbones from subsidiaries.
without preset themes and the order of speaking, the workshop was held in the way of face-to-face interaction between the chairman and young managers so as to better understand their thought dynamics by listening to their voice. at the meeting, young managers had warm discussions on topics such as safety and environmental protection, enterprise management, technological r&d, operational excellence, marketing & procurement, and team building under the new situation, sharing their insights in work and learning and their prospects for company development and personal career.
mr. hao exchanged ideas with young cadres, fully recognized their achievements over the past year, and raised earnest expectations for their growth. he encouraged everyone to continue striving diligently, enhance strength, refine themselves, and stand firm in their belief, and undertake responsibilities with a forward-looking attitude and enterprising spirit, so as to achieve a win-win situation in which employees’ success and the company’s growth can go hand in hand. for their future work and growth, hao put forward three requirements: first, set a big ambition and bear in mind china’s fundamental interests. they need to align their growth with the mission of the times, truly integrate themselves into the development trend, and assume the historical mission of building the enterprise into the head of the industrial chain and original technology sources. second, understand the great virtues and serve as a “positive catalyst” for dream. young managers should be loyal to the party, forge ideals and beliefs, stand up to big challenges, take the initiative to bear responsibility, constantly improve themselves and seize the opportunity to beef up their strength. third, enhance competence, hold onto position and make a difference. they need to be practical, take the initiative to find out problems in their work, improve their ability by solving problems, and make continuous progress amidst challenges and questions. they need to be innovative, dare to question and challenge the authority, operate and manage the enterprise with the thinking of change, and think about the connotation of innovation from a broader perspective. they need to proactively increase their knowledge base and take part in various training sessions. meanwhile, they should also pay attention to the combination of theory and practice, sharpen their skills, bravely meet future challenges, grow up through struggle, and make greater contributions to bluestar’s high-quality development.
