22nd bluestar international summer camp opened
on july 20, the 22nd bluestar international summer camp opened. ren jianming, vice president of chemchina, lu xiaobao, general manager of bluestar and chen jiandong, vice president of bluestar, attended the opening ceremony of beijing sub camp.
at the ceremony, ren jianming read out his speech to campers on behalf of ren jianxin, president of chemchina. ren said that the annual bluestar camp serves as an important part of bluestar’s corporate culture, and has received more and more attention as the years go by. the camp has played a special role in bringing all employees both at home and abroad together. the camp also passes on corporate culture to the children of employee’s, fulfilling its social responsibility. ren hoped that both the domestic and overseas campers would cherish the event, take initiatives in learning, and think positively when facing different cultures. he also stressed the importance of making new friends and taking an interest in self-improvement. he wished them a pleasant summer camp.
lu xiaobao stressed the safety issues. he highlighted the importance of taking extra precautions against potential dangers in the following surroundings: campsites, catering, accommodation, transportation and traveling. it was also a requirement that campers practice safety awareness and self-protection skills.
it was reported that on july 20, bluestar’s 20 sub-camps were opened on the same day in 19 cities across the country. of the 1,122 campers, 53 were from 11 overseas countries including france, norway, britain and australia. six students came from gulang county, gansu province, and they were financially supported by bluestar. the gansu children were invited to participate in all the activities of beijing sub camp as a part of bluestar’s "poverty alleviation" project.
